Please review the following rules and regulations governing Tri-City Comic-Con,
and if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
By signing and returning the resulting contract, you confirm that you have read the
following, agree to, and will comply with, all rules and requests as stated below.
1. Space and Table Rental: If you see the chart, the tables are divided in colored
scheme to reflect prime positioning and pricing. Exhibitor tables are in gray, these
areas are roughly 10’ X 15’ and are priced at $175. Prime tables by the windows in
baby blue are 10’ X 10’ with space in between for racks or other items, and these
are priced at $150. Premium 10’ X 10’ corner lots in lavender, and these spaces
are $125. If you wish additional space, or do not mind singular 10’ X 10’ space,
then yellow squares are a straight $100. In the light green area, we have modest
6’ X 6’ spaces for $50 for the dealers and or services not requiring a large space.
All red tables are for artists, a small 6’ long table to promote their skills and
art for $25 fee.
2. If you wish to spend the night at the Red Lion Inn, they are offering rooms at
$99.95 for singles and doubles. When making your reservations, let them know you are
with Tri-City Comic-Con. Any complications, contact the Event Coordinator right away.
3. All booths must be manned at all times. Tri-City Comic-Con will not be held responsible
for any issues arising from an unmanned booth during show hours.
4. It would be appreciated if Vendor/exhibitor tables/spaces remain intact throughout the
hours of the convention and not be dismantled prior to the closing of the convention. The
show is not over until 6:00pm. And it is unfair to other dealers and attendees to break
down early. If you cannot stay until the end of the show, please do not set up.
5. Assignment of space will be by show management. We will try to accommodate as many
special requests as possible but cannot guarantee space.
6. Exhibitors will comply with all local, state and federal laws, and will not hold
management liable for any breaches, losses, or damage to themselves or their property.
All vendors/exhibitors agree to hold blameless Tri-City Comic-Con and all Tri-City
Comic-Con staff members and workers against any loss, damage, theft, expenses, claims
or actions arising from any personal or property damage, loss or theft due to said
vendors/exhibitors participation in Tri-City Comic-Con.
7. In addition, all vendors/exhibitors acknowledge that Tri-City Comic-Con and all
Tri-City Comic-Con staff members, workers, employees and agents, will NOT provide or
maintain insurance coverage for vendors/exhibitors persons or property, and it is their
sole responsibility to obtain insurance covering loss.
8. Tri-City Comic-Con in no way endorses any vendors/exhibitor's merchandise, exhibits,
views, beliefs, or actions. All vendors/exhibitors are deemed to be their own business/entity
and in no way reflect the views, beliefs, intentions and/or direction of Tri-City
Comic-Con. Vendors/exhibitors do not represent Tri-City Comic-Con in any capacity
whatsoever.
9. All merchandise bought or sold at the Tri-City Comic-Con is done strictly between
vendors/exhibitors and attendees/buyers, Tri-City Comic-Con is not party to or responsible
in any way for any transactions made between said parties
10. All adult materials must be either behind the table or, if displayed on a table or
display rack bagged or covered so that minors may not open it. Any adult material
containing nudity must be covered in accordance with local and state laws. Exhibitor
agrees not to sell any adult materials to minors.
11. State tax is the responsibility of the vendor to collect according to state laws. Vendors and exhibiters license cost is included in your space rental.
12. PLEASE, NO Bootleg DVD’s or CD’s. Representatives from various anime companies as well representatives from major movie studios will be at the show. Anyone selling unauthorized merchandise that infringes upon their copyright or licensing agreements (or any other studios) will be asked to leave the show. No refunds will be given if you break this rule and are asked to leave. This is a strict policy at all major conventions and shows. Please do not make us prove that we are serious. This will hurt both parties… You, the vendor will be out the cost of your booth and travel costs and we’ll have an empty booth which makes the show look bad.
13. Please, no outside food and beverages are allowed for sale. A low-cost hospitality will be available at room 2111 for your refreshments, as well as many restaurants nearby.
14. No booths will be reserved unless paid in full. There is a limited amount of space. The Vendor room is limited to 46 booths. The artist tables are limited to 22 tables.
15. Exhibitors who renew for the following year after the event each year will be “grandfathered in” and pay today’s price for as many consecutive years as they renew, indefinitely. Not Transferable without TC3 boards permission.
16. Dealers will be supplied with two dealer badges for each booth purchased. Additional badges may be purchased in advance for $5 or at the show for $10. Dealer badges must be worn at all times by any person working at a booth. Badges may not be sold, loaned, or otherwise transferred to persons who are not working for you.
17. Each booth will come with one table at no charge. Additonal tables are $25 ea. Tables come in the following sizes: 8ft X 30 inches, 6ft X 30 inches, and 6ft X 24 inches. You may have as many chairs as you wish.
18. Should you (the dealer) find that you are not able to attend Tri-City Comic-Con and have already paid for your booth(s), the policy is as follows:
100% refund if cancelled prior to September 1st, 2008
50% refund if cancelled prior to October 1st, 2008
**NOTE** ANY CANCELLATION AFTER October 1st, 2008 WILL RESULT IN THE FORFEITURE OF ANY AND ALL PAYMENTS MADE TO Tri-City Comic-Con.
