ABOUT TC3
Though this will be our first year at Tri-City Comic Con (TC3), the majority of the
convention governing board has been running conventions for the last fifteen years
with the involvement in Radcon, a fan run Sci-Fi/fantasy convention with over 1900
attendees (The second largest fan run Sci-Fi convention in the Northwest).
RadCon has been a success due to attracting convention attendee's from a four state
area. (Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana)
The creation of TC3 is for the promotion of art, media, literature, gaming, and
imagination, especially in the Science Fiction, Fantasy and Comic genres. We support
the education of the general public in these areas by hosting events, fan-run
conventions, and bringing guest professionals to the community and into the local
schools to educate and encourage future artists and artisans.
TC3 board members have been involved with other conventions, and other community
events. These include; LepraCon, WesterCon52, StarFleet International Conference,
Greenwood Renaissance Faire, SCA, The Highland Scottish Games, March of Dimes,
and DCI (Drum Corp International) Drums along the Columbia marching band show.
